Chunyangmoksongi Informatization Village | Attraction Guide

Chunyangmoksongi Informatization Village is located in the northernmost part of Gyeongbuk, jokingly called Gangwonnam-do. It is a village surrounded by mountains where you can see snow even in April. Famous for its Chunyangmok trees and matsutake mushrooms, it is a clean and quiet mountain village with features such as Ungokcheon Stream and Dunae Mineral Spring. It is a pristine natural area with clear spring water flowing through the valleys, cool mountain breezes, humble and warm smiles of the people, generous hospitality, and clean air. The village’s main specialties include matsutake mushrooms full of pine scent in autumn, apples, blueberries, shiitake mushrooms, walnuts, grains, and highland cabbage. Specialty crops include highland medicinal herbs like cheongung and astragalus. Due to its high altitude and long sunlight hours, the highland area produces tastier and higher quality agricultural products. Village experience programs include Chunyangmok pine forest experience, Chunyangmok hanok Lego experience, Chunyangmok woodcraft experience, and blueberry picking. Additionally, accommodation is available at village pensions, which include lodging, forest trail exploration, and barista experience fees.
