Gangdanggol Valley is a valley on the northern slope of Gwangdeoksan (699m), spanning Asan-si and Cheonan-si, with the Oeamcheon stream flowing through it. 광덕산은 아산시 송악면과 천안시 광덕면을 경계로 하고 있는 산으로 깨끗하고 맑은 계곡과 부드럽고 유연한 산세를 자랑하고 있으며 차령산맥이 만들어 낸 명산으로 해발 699m로 전국에 잘 알려진 100대 명산 중의 하나이다. 예로부터 산이 크고 넉넉하여 덕이 있는 산이라 하였으며 또한, 나라에 전란이 일어나거나 불길한 일이 있으면 산이 운다는 전설이 전해져 오고 있다.

송악저수지는 아산시에서 그 크기가 제일가는 저수지로 송악면에 위치하고 있으며 생김새가 "ㄴ"자 모양을 하고 있으며 저수지제방에서 우측으로 호반길이 약 1.6km, 좌측으로 산을 끼고 도는 길은 약 1.7km가 이어진다. 한편 이 곳의 어종으로는 주로 붕어, 잉어, 향어가 대종을 이루며 씨가 아주 굵고 좋은 편이다.
