Introduction

1990년대 평촌 신도시가 개발되면서 도로를 가운데 두고 귀인동과 신촌동을 중심으로 먹거리타운이 형성되기 시작하였다. 안양사람들이 주말 외식 장소로 가장 많이 찾는 먹거리촌이다. 무려 100여 개의 음식점이 군락처럼 자리하고 있는데, 없는 메뉴를 찾기 힘들 만큼 선택지가 다양하다. 장어구이, 참치회, 해물탕, 조개전골, 갑오징어볶음, 닭 한 마리, 라멘 등 셀 수도 없이 많은 종류가 있다. (출처 : 내맘애안양)
