Mulwang-dong Traditional Food Village is located near Mulwang Reservoir in Mulwang-dong, Siheung-si. Mulwang Reservoir is famous as a private fishing spot of President Rhee Syngman in the 1950s, and the area hosts various restaurants and cafes, making it a popular spot for locals. Surrounded by mountains and a lake, the Mulwang Reservoir Traditional Food Village offers local dishes such as spicy fish stew, duck soup, chicken baeksuk, grilled eel, and Korean cuisine.

Gosongjeongji is the site where the pavilion called Gosongjeong was built in the 27th year of King Sunjo of the Joseon Dynasty (1827) by Kim Cheoil, mourning his ninth-generation ancestor Kim Chungju. Kim Chungju fled the capital at night after his grandfather and father were killed for participating in the movement to restore King Danjong. He lived in hiding in Hwajeong-dong, abstaining from meat and alcohol, and wearing hemp clothes and a commoner’s hat. Whenever his loyalty to King Danjong faltered, he wept while looking toward Yeongwol, where Danjong’s tomb is located. It is said that pine trees withered and died from the tears he shed mourning the violent deaths of his grandfather and father. Making a living by weaving grass houses and selling charcoal, he called himself the charcoal-burning old man 'Tanong,' which is why the site is also called Tanonggo. The pavilion had a two-room width and depth with an octagonal hip roof when viewed from the side. To the left of the pavilion is a rock inscribed with 'Tanonggoji,' and above the right side of Gosongjeong is the Mangwolam rock where he cried longing for Danjong. The surroundings boast natural scenery with over 500-year-old zelkova and juniper trees.

Sasechungnyeolmun is a loyalist and virtuous woman’s gate bestowed by the court to honor General Kim Yeomul (1548–1592), who died patriotically during the Imjin War, and the four generations of virtuous women in the Kim Yeomul family who sacrificed their lives when Qing troops invaded during the Byeongjahoran. The gate is a wooden structure characterized by square pillars in the jushimpo style and a hipped roof. The central section has a door modeled after a traditional folk house gate with the plaque “Sasechungnyeolmun” hung above it, and the building is surrounded by a fence. Inside, the building is divided into two rooms: the right side displays Kim Yeomul’s loyalist gate, and the left side houses the virtuous women’s gate for the four generations. The current building was rebuilt in 1971 and restored in 1983.

Furthermore, it supports multicultural families residing in Ansan by providing free traditional weddings, striving to inherit and develop our traditional culture in multicultural Ansan.
