However, except for Pungsanjang and Sin Market, their scale is minimal. Markets are widely held throughout downtown Andong, with representative places including Gu Market, Sin Market, Bukmun Market, and Seobu Market. The main product sold at Andong Market is hemp fabric, Andong is known as the home of hemp. Andong hemp is highly absorbent, breathable, and durable, making it one of the top natural fibers for summer fabrics alongside Hansan's semo-si. Hahoe Village is a typical clan village where the Pungsan Ryu (柳) family has lived for generations, embodying the beauty of traditional Korean houses.
