Yedang Tourist Site is a national tourist attraction located on the northwest shore of Yedang Reservoir, built near the southern area of Yesan city. Yedang Reservoir is known for its beautiful scenery, leading to the establishment of this national tourist site in 1986. Currently, the site features a monorail, suspension bridge, music fountain, sculpture park, octagonal pavilion, waterside outdoor stage, camping site, and more. The monorail operates as a mountain train running approximately 1,320m along the reservoir shore in about 22 minutes, providing safe views of the suspension bridge, sculpture park, and reservoir. Notably, it offers themed nighttime lighting with media art such as seasonal views of the reservoir, moon sculptures, sculpture park lights, media façades, and holograms. The gently swaying suspension bridge is 402m long, giving the sensation of walking above the water with clear views of the surface from under the main tower floor. It also shines brightly with colorful lights at night. The music fountain system includes various fountains like the New Millennium, 1100-Year, Apple, Forsythia, Suspension Bridge, Hwang-i, Wings, and Stork fountains, combined with water screens, beam projectors, and lasers to create a diverse light and color show. The sculpture park was created by multiple artists, harmonizing artworks with surrounding facilities to enhance the site's beauty. Additionally, the area has accommodations, fishing spots, restaurants, and cafes. Nearby attractions include Bongsusan Natural Recreation Forest, Bongsusan Arboretum, Yesan Stork Park, and Gwangsi Hanwoo Street, offering connected tourism opportunities.

Bongsusan Natural Recreation Forest is located on Bongsusan Mountain (483m), near the southwest of Yesan Yedang Reservoir (Yedang Tourist Site). Opened in 2007, it offers various forest recreation facilities and is known for its scenic beauty combining natural and artificial forests, inhabited by various wild birds. The recreation forest features gentle hiking trails ranging from 1 to 3 hours, popular among families and club hikers who enjoy forest walks and hiking. The course that includes Imjonseong and ascends to the summit of Bongsusan provides a panoramic view of Yedang Reservoir. Facilities include lodging (Forest House, Forest Culture Recreation Hall), water playground, jokgu court, seminar room, and forest experience center. Nearby are Yedang Reservoir, Bongsusan Arboretum, Uijohunghyeongje Park, Daeheung Slow City, and Gwangsi Hanwoo Street.

Gwangsi Hanwoo Street is a street densely filled with restaurants specializing in Korean beef from female cows. Along about 300 meters of Provincial Road 619, there are over 20 meat restaurants, most of which also operate as butcher shops. About 30 years ago, the first meat restaurants started appearing one by one, and now it is a renowned street visited by people from all over the country. The meat restaurants either slaughter the cattle themselves or source female Hanwoo beef from nearby, ensuring good quality and freshness. At the restaurants, you can enjoy a variety of cuts and dishes including fresh sirloin, special cuts, yukhoe (raw beef), and beef mushroom hot pot.
