Yecheon Insect Research Institute & Insect Ecology Center is a biodiversity management institution designated by the Ministry of Environment, exhibiting a variety of insect specimens and live insects that are hard to find anywhere else. It provides education where humans and the natural environment coexist harmoniously, equipped with experiential learning and play facilities related to insects. On the first floor of the Insect Ecology Experience Hall, there is a 3D theater showing three-dimensional insect videos; the second floor houses the insect learning center and ecology hall where visitors can learn about insect evolution and diversity; the third floor includes an insect resource center showcasing insects used in various industries and an experiential space to enhance children's creativity and imagination. The giant ladybug-shaped multi-experience hall helps children easily and enjoyably approach insects through games and offers a safe area for active play. Additionally, the outdoor insect ecology garden, which changes seasonally, features a butterfly tunnel, cave insect experience center, insect-themed playground, and observatory. Visitors can take a monorail to view the entire complex at a glance.

Yecheon Astronomy and Space Center is a theme park focused on stars and space, opened in November 2004, equipped with facilities such as the Space Tower, observatory, and Star House. The Space Tower offers astronaut training experiences, a 4D theater, media exhibitions, and experience rooms. On the 1st floor, visitors can experience gravity changes using a variable gravity machine; the 3rd floor provides constellation drawing and light sketching activities; the 4th floor offers a 4D video experience. The astronomy observatory includes a main observation room, auxiliary observation room, planetarium, and observer accommodations. In the main observation room, the universe can be observed using a research-grade 508mm (20-inch) reflecting telescope controlled by computer. The auxiliary observation room features a 4-tube solar telescope for observing solar phenomena such as sunspots and gigantic fiery pillars called solar prominences. The planetarium is a space theater with a digital planetarium and video projector that displays seasonal constellations and astronomy-related videos on a dome-shaped ceiling screen. There is also an exhibition room and auditorium displaying real meteorites and other items.

Hoeryongpo is a place where Naeseongcheon, a tributary of the Nakdong River, winds around forming a sandy beach in Daeun-ri, Yongmun-myeon, Yecheon, and a village is located within it. The river, which used to flow leisurely, suddenly turns direction, making a round circle and flowing upstream, creating a peculiar scenery selected as one of Yecheon’s 8 scenic spots. To see this scenery properly, you need to go up to Jangan-sa Temple in adjacent Hyangseok-ri. From Hoeryongdae Pavilion in front of Jangan-sa, built in 1998, you can see at a glance Naeseongcheon winding like a water circle, along with the island-like village inside. Hoeryongpo Village is a small and quiet village with only a few households left as most have moved to the city, and it takes less than an hour to make a round trip. To enter the village, you must cross the village’s symbol, the Ppyongppyong Bridge, which is made of perforated construction site structures; when the water level is high, water spurts through the holes, hence the name. Originally a temporary bridge, it became a famous feature of Hoeryongpo and was not removed, with another vehicle-accessible bridge built on the opposite side. Nearby attractions include Jangan-sa on Biryongsan across the village, Wonsanseong Fortress, Yongmun-sa Temple, and Seoksongnyeong.

옛 주막의 모습을 만날 수 있는 곳으로 삼강주막은 삼강나루의 나들이객에게 허기를 면하게 해주고 보부상들의 숙식처로, 때론 시인묵객들의 유상처로 이용된 건물이다. 1900년 경에 지은 이 주막은 규모는 작지만 그 기능에 충실한 집약적 평면구성의 특징을 보여주고 있어 건축역사 자료로서 희소가치가 클 뿐만 아니라 옛 시대상을 읽을 수 있는 지역의 역사와 문화적 의의를 간직하고 있어 2007년, 옛모습 그대로 복원되었다.

용궁순대는 40여년 전통으로 대를 잇는 식당이다. 경북 예천 명소인 회룡포(5km)와 천연기념물 400호인 세금을 내는 나무 황목근(1.5km)이 위치해 있으며 삼강주막(6km)도 주변에 위치한다. 용궁순대는 천안의 병천순대나 용인의 백암순대와 함께 3대 순대로도 불리며, 예천군 용궁면에서 만들어졌다고 해서 용궁순대가 됐다고 한다. 여느 순대들과 비교해 용궁순대가 특별한 것은 두툼한 돼지 막창으로 만든다는 점이다. 돼지의 소창이나 대창을 사용하는 일반적인 순대와 달리 막창으로 순대피를 만드는 용궁순대는 그 식감이 더 풍부하고 깊다.
