Heungbune Bapsang is a Korean cuisine specialty restaurant located in Yangyang, Gangwon-do. The medicinal water dolsotbap, made with well water from Pillye-yaksu in Inje-gun, is said to be good for skin diseases, stomach ailments, and hangover relief. The gondre dolsotbap, cooked with wild gondre greens from Gangwon-do, is also a popular menu item. For those who find it difficult to wait for the dolsotbap cooking time, there is also a Heungbune Bapsang that serves rice bowls. Recognized for the quality of its rice by Nonghyup and Nongmin Newspaper, the restaurant offers a full meal including seasonal grilled fish, bulgogi, wild vegetables and pickles from Gangwon-do, and kimchi. As side dishes, customers can add Yongdaeri dried pollack or spicy deer antler root grill for a richer experience. Parking is convenient with a dedicated lot in front of the store. From this year, dinner service has been discontinued, so be sure to check operating hours and availability before visiting.
