Yeongheung Park, spanning 180,000 pyeong, was reborn as 'Yeongheung Forest Park' under the Special Act on Private Development Parks just before the sunset date after its designation. The neglected forest transformed into a representative park of Suwon leading forest and garden culture, embracing an arboretum. Visitors can enjoy the forest and entire park through the Cloud Ridge Trail, a three-dimensional circulation trail. In the 'forest with a story,' youth grow together while fostering love for life. Residents can enjoy daily life-oriented park and garden culture at Yeongtong Street Park, Youth Experience Forest, Visitor Center, and Doranmadang. As its name suggests, Yeongheung Forest Park will become a model of citizen-participatory parks in Suwon, continually nurtured and endlessly growing into a future forest, the Millennium Suwon (千年樹園).
