Located 1.5 km north of Samcheok City Hall, Jageun Hujin Beach is a beautiful and pristine beach along Saecheonnyon Coastal Road. It is adjacent to Samcheok Beach and close to a small fishing village backed by low hills. The beach has a 150m-long white sand shore with a depth of about 1 to 1.5 meters, and there is a small harbor nearby, making it suitable for family vacations. Visitors can enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the sea, and explore small crabs, umbrella clams, and oysters among the rocks, which is great for children. Fishing is possible at Hujin Port Breakwater right next to the beach. There are convenient facilities such as guesthouses and restaurants nearby. It is close to Samcheok Port where fresh sashimi is available, and well-maintained bike paths and decks allow you to enjoy the sea scenery wherever you choose. It is accessible on foot after parking at Samcheok Beach or Hujin Breakwater.

Beach Sculpture Park is one of the main attractions along Saecheonnyun Coastal Road. It is popular as a place for tourists to visit and enjoy sculptures while relaxing and cooling off, not only in summer but throughout all four seasons. Climbing up through the dense pine forest leads to an octagonal pavilion where visitors can rest. From the pavilion, there is a panoramic view of the blue sea and a clear view of Saecheonnyun Road built on the coastal rock formations. A small public square near the coast often hosts performances. Particularly, the underground space called 'Cafe Marine Deck' is famous as the most beautiful date spot where you can enjoy tea or beverages closest to the sea.

새천년의 소망을 담아 2000년 시에서 건립한 탑으로, 건립 후원자 33,000명의 이름이 각인되어 있으며 3단 타원형으로 구성되어 있다. 1단은 신혼부부의 소망석이며, 2단은 청소년, 3단은 어린이의 소망석으로 되어 있으며, 탑신은 소원을 비는 양손의 형태로 표현되어 있다. 또한 새로운 천년의 시작을 기념하는 타임캡슐을 탑 아래에 묻어 두었다.

공업항이자 무역항으로 한때는 동해 최대 항구였으나 현재는 소박한 어촌마을을 지키는 항구이다. 항구에는 낚시를 즐길 수 있는 방파제와 활어회를 파는 맛집이 즐비하다.
