Hallyeohaesang National Park is a national park spanning Sacheon-si, Geoje-si, Tongyeong-si, Hadong-gun, Namhae-gun in Gyeongsangnam-do, and Yeosu-si in Jeollanam-do. It features charming landforms created by the ocean, islands, and land, attracting over one million visitors annually. Designated in 1968, it was Korea's fourth national park and the first marine park to receive national park status. From Jisimdo in Geoje-si, Gyeongnam to Odongdo in Yeosu-si, Jeonnam, a 300-ri sea route, it is a treasure trove of marine ecosystems harmonizing large and small islands with pristine natural scenery. The total area of Sangju, Geumsan district, Namhae Bridge district, Sacheon district, Tongyeong, Hansan district, Geoje, Haegeumgang district, Yeosu, and Odongdo district is 535.676 km², with 76% being marine area. The Hallyeohaesudo, known as the most beautiful sea route, consists of 71 uninhabited islands and 29 inhabited islands.
