Jinbu Traditional Market, held on the 3rd and 8th of each month, is the largest 5-day market in Pyeongchang-gun, with a large resident population and proximity to the highway. Not only residents of Pyeongchang but also those from Hongcheon-gun Naemyeon, Jeongseon-gun, and Bukpyeong-myeon visit the market. During the Joseon Dynasty, Jinbu people took great pride in Jinbu Market as the largest market when traveling from Hanyang over Daegwallyeong to Gangneung.
