Guryongpo Columnar Joints are located consecutively with Guryongpo Beach. They have a shape as if lava from a volcanic eruption suddenly stopped flowing, which is the biggest difference from columnar joints in other areas. These Guryongpo Columnar Joints can be viewed from the 1st and 2nd observation decks, which are about 30 meters apart. From all observation decks, you can enjoy not only the columnar joints but also the view of the sea in front of Pohang. In particular, the 1st observation deck overlooks the entire landscape of Guryongpo Beach. There are also photo zones set up around the observation decks.
