Jangneung is the tomb of Wonjong, the biological father of the 16th Joseon king Injo (1623~1649), and his wife, Inheon Queen Gu. Jangneung is in the form of Ssangneung (paired tombs), with the burial mounds placed side by side in one enclosure. When facing the tomb from the front, the left (west) is Wonjong's tomb, and the right (east) is Inheon Queen's tomb. The scale and structure of the tomb appear to represent the typical style of mid-Joseon. Below the tomb is a ritual hall where memorial rites are performed; this building was used annually by the 21st king Yeongjo and the 22nd king Jeongjo to conduct ancestral rites. It provides visitors with fun and meaningful experiences by realizing the diverse values and attractions of the DMZ and its border area, such as history, symbolism, and ecological environment, through immersive media content.

Imjingak is a representative peace tourism site in South Korea that holds the pain of the Korean War and national division. This site has various war memorials, including the Imjingang District War Memorial and the US Military War Memorial. A train that used to operate up to Sinuiju in the north before the Korean War is on display. One of the two Imjin Railroad Bridges was destroyed during the war, leaving only the bridge pier. Mangbaedan is a place where displaced families bow toward their families in the North. Imjingak is known as a place filled with the sorrow of separated families. Millions of domestic and foreign visitors visit Imjingak every year. It functions as a unity and security tourism site hoping for reunification. Facilities include an exhibition hall, Pyeonghwa Nuri, Peace Gondola, and the Memorial Hall for POWs from the Korean War. The Imjingak area is developed as a large-scale tourist site with a total area of 140,000 pyeong.

Jaein Waterfall has long been widely known as a scenic spot. The waterfall is formed where a small stream flowing down from Jijangbong in the north pours down an approximately 18m high basalt columnar joint cliff, creating a spectacular sight. Around Jaein Waterfall, it is also known as a habitat for natural monuments such as Eoreumchi and endangered species like the pink dragonfly. A beautiful love story related to the name of the waterfall has been passed down. Various basalt features can be observed at Jaein Waterfall, notably columnar joints, undercut caves, potholes, and gas tubes. The waterfall, about 18m high, continues to erode the area below it, forming a pothole with a depth of 5m. A pothole is a deep hole formed when whirlpools occur in concave or broken parts of river rocks.
