Baekdudaegan Ecological Arboretum is located in Imgye-myeon, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon Province. It was established by the Eastern Branch of the Korea Forest Research Institute to enhance the value of Gangwon forests, which cover 82% of the total area of Gangwon-do. The site spans 124 hectares around Seokbyeongsan on Hwacheondong-gil, Imgye-myeon, Jeongseon-gun, and manages approximately 1,200 species and 400,000 plants in one thematic garden. In addition, while preserving forest genetic resources and biodiversity, it provides visitors with natural learning centers and nature experience programs.
