Jecheon Cheongpung Geumbyeongheon is a Joseon Dynasty government office building located within the Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex. It served as the Dongheon of Cheongpungbu during the Joseon period, where the magistrate conducted official duties. Originally located in Eup-ri, Cheongpung-myeon, the building was relocated and restored to its current site due to submersion caused by the construction of Chungju Dam. It was built in 1681 (the 7th year of King Sukjong's reign) by magistrate O Do-il, with records of multiple renovations thereafter. Inside the building is a plaque reading "Cheongpunggwan." The structure is built on a two-tiered foundation and measures six kan in the front and three kan on the side. The front section includes a one-kan floor with a rear room, while the left two kan feature a floor with a railing, styled like a pavilion. It is the only government office building in the Cheongpung region without dancheong decorative paintwork. It is significant that it was restored along with its original spatial arrangement. Notably, Jecheon Cheongpung Geumbyeongheon holds architectural importance as the central building of the former Cheongpungbu and as a local government office exemplifying the modest and elegant architectural style of the late Joseon Dynasty.
