Donghae-myeon, known as a natural treasure, is closely adjacent to the sea and filled with coastal resting places and scenic coastlines everywhere you go. Driving along the Donghae coastal road, you can see the grandeur of Dongjin Bridge at a glance. Continuing along the coastal road with Dongjin Bridge to the left, a wide-open sea and a charming coastal village come into view, offering beautiful rural scenery and views. Soon, you will reach Haemaji Park in Naesan-ri, Donghae-myeon. Haemaji Park hosts the sunrise event of Goseong-gun and is perfect for watching the red sun rising over the calm morning sea that looks like a lake. The park features a large dinosaur sculpture as its trademark, a quaint pavilion, a glass observatory, and a small walking path. On clear days, the observatory offers views of Geoje-do and Busan Gaduk-do, and has a wooden stand where you can place your camera and rotate it 360 degrees for panoramic shots. To the right, the shipyard scenery with a large crane provides a unique sight. The free-spirited sight of bikers enjoying the refreshing sea and beautiful coastal road is also often seen.
