Haetae Restaurant is Gangjin's representative restaurant where you can enjoy a healthy meal prepared with ingredients nurtured by the natural blessings of Namdo, famous for Namdo-style hanjeongsik (Korean full-course meal). Introduced in Yoo Heung-jun's 'My Cultural Heritage Exploration,' this Namdo-style hanjeongsik restaurant offers Haetae set meals for 1 to 4 people. The types of dishes vary according to season, weather, and market conditions, allowing you to experience seasonal foods. In spring, it features Gangjin specialty clams; in summer, freshwater eel; in autumn, croaker and odori; and in winter, maesaengi soup. To preserve the freshness and original taste of ingredients, minimal seasoning is used. Additionally, the soybean paste stew served in earthen pots and bulgogi, which have been consistently made for over 30 years, offer a unique taste only found at Haetae Restaurant. It is adjacent to Gangjin Intercity Bus Terminal and about a 5-minute walk from Yeongnang Birthplace.
