Eumseong Market is a traditional market located in Ipnae 2-ri, Eumseong-eup, Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. The Munhwa-dong village is where Eumseong Market is held, called the ‘Jangteo’ (marketplace), and the market near Eumseonggyo is called ‘Chae-so-jeon’ (vegetable market). Since the Gamwon Station of the Joseon Dynasty was located in Ipnae-ri, Eumseong-eup, Eumseong Market naturally formed according to regional conditions.
