Along with Byeokgolje of Gimje and Susanje of Miryang, it is one of the Samhan period water management facilities, with its sluice gate built of earthenware, providing valuable data for studying ancient agricultural technology. Currently, it is a scenic spot in Jecheon, where Yeonghojeong, built in the 7th year of Sunjo (1807), Gyeongholu Pavilion, built in 1948, centuries-old pine and weeping willow trees, and a 30m natural waterfall enhance the landscape.
