Changgye Sungjeolsa Shrine enshrines the memorial tablets and holds rites for Chwigumheon Park Paengnyeon (1417–1456), who attempted to restore King Danjong during early Joseon under King Sejo, and Cheongjae Park Simmun (1408–1456), who committed suicide after hearing of the execution of the Six Martyred Ministers. The shrine was established in 1923 and named Sungjeolsa to honor their noble loyalty. It was built by Park Simmun's descendants with local Confucian scholars' support and consists of a tiled roof house with three bays in front and two bays on the side. On March 18, 1989, it was designated as a cultural heritage material of Daejeon Metropolitan City in recognition of its cultural value. Nearby are Ppuri Park, Daejeon O-World, and Bomunsan.
