Selected as a 'Baeknyeon Gage' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2018, Namjudong Haejangguk is located at the end of Yukgeori General Market and is a haejangguk specialty restaurant with an 80-year tradition. Recognized as a local cuisine designated establishment, it has also been featured on TV gourmet programs. The broth is rich and hearty, made by simmering beef leg bones, backbones, beef, and tripe, then adding a secret sauce aged for 7 years and boiling it spicily in a cauldron. The broth flavor is exceptional, utilizing a soy sauce aged for over 10 years, made in-house. Its deep flavor is excellent for hangover relief yet tempting enough to invite more drinking. The signature dish is beef haejangguk.
