Palyong Neighborhood Park in Uichang-gu, Changwon is located on the slopes of Palyongsan, at the upper right side of Palyong Tunnel Changwon Tollgate. At the entrance of the park, which was created on the site of the former Jukjeon Village, there is a Jukjeon Commemorative Monument. The monument was made to console the pain of displacement felt by the people of Jukjeon Village. Surrounded by factories and mountains, Palyong Neighborhood Park offers various facilities such as a fitness area, lawn plaza, walking trails, picnic area, and central plaza, making it a convenient place to visit briefly. Notably, the park is connected to hiking trails leading up Palyongsan, a famous mountain in Changwon, attracting many visitors. Near the park, Palyongsan also has several neighborhood facilities including Bongam Reservoir, Stone Pagoda Park, and Nature Study Center, making it a good spot for walking and hiking courses.
