청해진의 옛 터에 장보고대사의 업적을 기리고 해양 개척정신을 고취시키기 위해 건립된 기념관은 완도가 고향인 장보고 대사의 실체를 한·중·일 삼국의 고고학적 자료와 문헌기록을 통해 증명하고, 해양개척정신을 재조명하는 공간이다. 상설전시는 뿌리/생성/제국/항해 등 4개의 zone으로 분류하여 장보고의 삶과 동북아 해상무역 활동, 해양개척 저인과 그 정신을 계승하여 21세기 신 해양시대 개척 의지를 지향하는 메시지를 전달한다.

Eoga, an authentic Japanese restaurant located at Wando Trade Port, is situated behind Cheonghae Petroleum on the coastal road towards the Wando-gun Fisheries Cooperative. The representative dish is the Eoga set meal, served as a full course. In addition, you can enjoy a variety of menus including tuna, fish sushi, fish stew, and braised fish.

Located on Bojeoksan, a famous mountain of Cheongsando, it is called Beombawi because it resembles the head of a tiger. Due to strong magnetic influences around Beombawi, compasses do not work, earning it the name 'Mystic Rock.' It is said that one can receive Beombawi's energy nearby. There is a legend of Beombawi's crouching tiger shape. A hermit tasked a tiger with gathering ten long-lived beings, called Sibjangsaeng (Ten Symbols of Longevity), to continue the vitality of Cheongsan. The tiger, not included among the Sibjangsaeng, became ill-intentioned. The hermit then told the tiger to leave Cheongsando before the moonlight shone on the sea that night. As the tiger tried to leave, its cub repeatedly lagged behind, and when crossing the mountain summit, the moonlight shone and darkness cleared, turning the tiger and its cub into large rocks that remain here. Another legend says that a tiger roared toward the rock, and hearing its roar louder than its own, it fled the island in fear that a bigger tiger lived here—hence the name Beombawi. Above the large Beombawi lies the Beombawi Observatory, and further up is a smaller Beombawi. From Beombawi, visitors can see Geomundo and Jeju Island and enjoy searching for three turtles in the harbor below, which is one of the pleasures of visiting this place.

Jiri Beach is the representative beach of Cheongsan-do and is one of the beaches known for its beautiful sunsets. The beach features a 100-meter-wide and 1-kilometer-long white sand shore, and behind the beach, more than 500 pine trees over 200 years old provide cool shade. At sunset, the sun setting west of the islands scattered in the sea appears so red that it darkens the sea. Cheongsan-do is Korea's largest sea fishing spot, and this area is rich in premium fish species such as sea bream, black porgy, and rockfish. Jiri Cheongsong Beach corresponds to course 10 of the Slow Road, called the Sunset Road. From mid-November to the end of December, a beautifully colored autumn foliage path stretches from Jiri Cheongsong Beach to Jinsan-ri Pebble Beach.
