In the past, the market was held on the 3rd and 8th day of each month, but now it has transformed into a permanent market with no fixed market days. With about 200 stores and 90 street vendors spread across several alleys, it welcomes visitors. Food is a must during a tour of the market alleys. The Western Market's history began around 1970, centered around the bus terminal, and some restaurants from that time still remain serving guests today.
