Located in the center of Jindo, Jindo-eup, Jindo Ariranghoe Center is on the second floor of the Jindo Arirang seafood market. Fresh sashimi can be directly purchased at the seafood market on the first floor and eaten upstairs by paying a table setting fee. When ordering spicy fish stew (maeuntang), various side dishes typical of Jindo such as salted fermented seafood and flatfish are served, and since they also run a jokbal (pork trotters) restaurant, bibim guksu (mixed noodles) and jokbal are offered together. The clear fish soup containing Jindo’s specialty seaweed has a rich broth that is different from seaweed soup (miyeokguk). The Arirang sashimi set meal for four people requires a reservation in advance. With a capacity of 160 people, ample tables, and private rooms, it is also a great place for group gatherings or company dinners.
