Cheongpung Tourism Village is a region where the Namhan River flows through the village, making water transport flourishing and a transportation hub. It also has wide fields where humans have resided since prehistoric times, boasting a warm and simple-hearted community along with the beautiful scenery of mountains and lakes. It features the Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex, the Meeting Plaza filled with the sorrows and hopes of submerged villagers, a water spectacle fountain that shoots water up to 165m high causing spray, a bungee jumping site, artificial rock climbing area and waterfalls, and a water seaplane station as unique experience tourist attractions. Gazing at the cruise ship drifting leisurely on Cheongpung Lake carrying relaxation and romance evokes images of the mythical Mount Murung.
