This citizen-friendly environmental infrastructure plays an important role. The Hyochon District Mulbit Nonilter plant treats 16,000 tons of domestic wastewater daily from Hyochon 1·2 District, Jinwol District, Bitgoeul Silver Town, and surrounding villages. For family visitors, there is a 'tour promotion center' and a 'picnic area' inside the plant to help citizens experience ecological environment education near the city center. A 'multi-stadium' that can be used for soccer and baseball, and an 'outdoor performance venue' for small concerts or events are available to attract frequent visitors.
