Hoguk Life Sports Park is a sports park located in Gonjiam-eup, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, equipped with sports facilities such as a soccer field, basketball court, and badminton court, allowing visitors to enjoy various sports activities. In the summer, a water play area opens, filled with the joyful laughter and cheers of children. There are shade structures and picnic tables scattered throughout, providing comfortable seating to watch children play. Separate changing rooms are also provided. The park serves as a place for the health promotion and leisure activities of Gwangju citizens, and it was created to honor Jeongam Lee Jong-hoon and General Shin Rip. At the park entrance, visitors can see a stone sculpture explaining the background of the park’s creation along with statues of the two figures.
