Geojin Traditional Market, established and registered in 1965, is a permanent market and a five-day market (held on the 1st and 6th) located adjacent to Geojin Port, the largest pollock fishing site in Korea. Until the 1980s, it was the largest market within Goseong-gun and played a central role in revitalizing the local economy. Currently, with Goseong-gun's continuous urban planning and improvements such as new urban roads enhancing market accessibility, infrastructure has been developed. Facilities like rain shelters, widened access roads, renovated restrooms, and a dedicated traditional market parking lot have been created to improve the environment, aiming to provide a convenient and clean traditional market experience.
