[모심정] 구례에서 곡성으로 가는 17번 국도상에 접해 있는 모심정은 경관 수려한 압록유원지 인근에 위치해 들르기가 편하다. 압록유원지는 섬진강과 보성강이 만나는 합수 지점으로 물이 깊지 않아 물놀이를 즐기려는 사람과 강태공으로 늘 붐비는 곳이다. 다슬기도 언제든 잡을 수 있다. [통나무집] 보성강과 섬진강가에 가면 유독 민물고기 식당들을 쉽게 발견할 수 있다. 특히 보성강과 섬진강이 만나는 압록이 그 중 유명하다. 통나무집 산장은 삼나무로 지어 유럽의 별장을 연상시키는 외관이 유독 눈에 띈다. 서양식 건물 속에서 만나는 음식들은 참게탕과 메기탕, 쏘가리탕, 은어회, 쏘가리회 등 섬진강이나 보성강에서 많이 잡히는 민물고기를 재료로 맛깔나게 만들어낸 틀림없는 토종 한식이다. 어디 고기만 토종인가 제철 산나물과 천연조미료, 집에서 직접 담근 된장에 텃밭에서 일군 야채들만 사용한다.

Since April 1999, when the Chipochipo Seomjingang outing tourist train event began as one of the county's major policies, Gojang-ri in Godal-myeon has newly emerged as a tourist attraction in Gokseong-gun. This train operates a 10 km round trip from the old Gokseong Station (Seomjingang Train Village) to Gojang Station, faithfully restored to resemble the steam locomotive that actually ran in the past. Seomjingang Train Village features the clear and clean Seomjingang River, trains running on old tracks (disused lines), two ferry crossings across the river, and the remarkable scene of three lines converging: National Road No. 17, Jeolla Line Railroad, and Seomjingang River. It is Honam's best driving course, surrounded by a lawn plaza, a gazebo, a foot-operated mill, a waterwheel, and a cosmos flower path, forming a fantastic Seomjingang riverside bicycle hiking course. You can leisurely enjoy the scenery created by the fresh green of spring along the Seomjingang and the flowers by the roadside.
