Hwangto Region Dangnaru Mulkkot Village has long been a trading hub with China and is the original place name source of 'Dangjin.' In 2008, it was newly developed as an advanced environmental rural experience and rest village. Most of the village residents engage in agriculture, cultivating yellow soil sweet potatoes and long green peppers. The village is surrounded on both sides by Daehon Lake, making the West Sea sunset especially beautiful. Near Daehodaegyo Bridge connecting Dangjinpoli and Daehoji-myeon, there is a lotus field and a resting area. Haechangjinseong Park offers facilities for fishing, cycling, experiential activities, and camping.
