Chilgapsan Natural Recreation Forest was established in 1990 to preserve the beautiful scenery of 73 hectares of dense natural forest and was completed on September 12, 1993. It includes 13 forest houses (accommodating about 84 people), 24 two-story forest culture recreation buildings (accommodating about 108 people), 4 thatched huts, a camping site with 20 decks (accommodating about 80 people), one lecture hall (accommodating 150 people), one shelter, 35 benches, a grass plaza, walking trails, fitness facilities, two water play areas, and two parking lots (100 cars). It is a recreational space suitable for families, featuring a nature learning center for children and a grass park for various events, making it ideal for family or group gatherings. Additionally, when the nearby Chilgapho reservoir is filled with water, the combination of water and mountain creates a scenic and highly regarded natural recreation forest.
