Changwon Arboretum is an urban natural arboretum located near the Changwon City Hall. It consists of 14 themed gardens including Sky Garden, European-style Garden, Children's Song Forest, Flower Hill, Rock Garden, as well as exhibition halls, a cactus greenhouse, wall fountain, pond, and resting areas. The greenhouse, planted with 6,621 cacti and various subtropical plants, offers a view of rare plants not commonly seen in daily life. Free guided programs by forest interpreters are offered, explaining themed exhibition gardens such as the textbook botanical garden and Children's Song Forest, along with the history of the forest and the arboretum’s role. The cactus greenhouse and exhibition halls are open until 5 PM.
