Seokbinggo is an ice storage warehouse showcasing the wisdom of ancestors who harvested ice in the cold winter and preserved it for use through the hot summer. According to a stele remaining on the right side of the ice reservoir, inscribed with '숭정기원후재임술이월초일일여사월초십일필,' it was constructed in 1742 by local governor Shin Seo and others. Based on its architectural style and the customs of storing ice, it is presumed to have been built during the Joseon Dynasty. Changnyeong Seokbinggo has almost entirely preserved its earth mound; externally, it looks like a massive ancient burial mound and is constructed north-south at a right angle to the stream flowing behind it. The entrance to the ice chamber is located on the south side, with large rectangular stones laid sideways on both sides to form the ceiling, which includes two ventilation holes connecting to the outside. The walls are made of rough stones but their surfaces have been chiseled flat to form smooth inner walls. This architectural style is identical to representative Seokbinggo such as those in Gyeongju and Andong, though Changnyeong Seokbinggo is somewhat smaller in scale.

Bugok Oncheon has been called Bugok (釜谷) because it has long been said to resemble a cauldron. The exact year of formation of Bugok Oncheon is unknown, but it is recorded in the Yeongsanhyeon section of Dongguk Yeoji Seungnam, showing that there was a hot spring in Bugok since long ago. It is also mentioned as Yeongsan Onjeong in the Goryeo section of Dongguk Tonggam, thus it is said to have been naturally erupting since ancient times and continuing to this day. A rumor spread nationwide about a well in the village called "Omsaem," where hot water gushes out, attracting patients with itchiness, leprosy, and other skin diseases who came in groups for treatment. This indicates the excellent water quality of Bugok Oncheon. Bugok Oncheon was designated a tourist special zone in 1981 and continues to this day. The Bugok Oncheon Tourist District includes comprehensive recreational facilities based on hot springs, such as hotels, condos, golf courses, and hot spring fountains, as well as diverse hot spring areas.
Gwallyongsa Temple, one of the eight major temples of the Unified Silla period, holds many cultural heritages and is also famous for its beautiful scenery. Legend says that Wonhyo and his disciple Songpa were praying here for one hundred days when suddenly they saw nine dragons rising from the pond to the sky, after which the temple was named 'Gwallyongsa' and the mountain was called Guryongsan. The Daeungjeon hall existed in the first year of King Taejong of Joseon (1401) but was destroyed during the Japanese invasions of Korea, rebuilt in the 9th year of King Gwanghaegun (1617), and repaired in the 25th year of King Yeongjo (1749) to its current state. Within Gwallyongsa are many Buddhist relics including the Daeungjeon, Yongseondae Stone Sakyamuni Buddha statue, Gwallyongsa Stone Buddha statue, Yaksa-jeon (all designated treasures), the three-story stone pagoda of Yaksa-jeon (a tangible cultural asset), and stupa.
