Cheongho Reservoir in Haseo-myeon, Buan-gun, is a vast reservoir constructed to supply agricultural water to the reclaimed plains of Gyehwado. The clear water of the reservoir is rich in freshwater fish such as freshwater shrimp and crucian carp, attracting those who enjoy freshwater fishing. Sculptures are installed throughout the area, and the calm reservoir harmonizing with fields, mountains, and the sky offers a picturesque landscape. The estuary where the Dongjin River and Mangyeong River flow in has developed mudflats inhabited by migratory birds and various life forms. In winter, it is a migratory bird habitat visited by many species, including mallards, garganeys, and white-cheeked ducks. Nearby are Gyehwado, Gyehwa Bird Sanctuary, Byeonsanbando National Park, and Byeonsan Beach, making it great for linked tourism.
